Luminescence

The setup allows the measurement of excitation and emission spectra, as well as decay curves (from 10 ns to second) from 4 K to 550 K.

Excitation systems...

  • pulsed nitrogen laser (337.1 nm - 800 ps) + dye laser (380 to 660 nm)
  • cw laser diode (473 nm, <200 mW)
  • cw or pulsed IR laser diodes (800-810 nm and 966-975 nm)
  • Xe and Hg lamps

Analysis systems :

  • Luminescence spectra : Jobin-Yvon monochromator HR460 : single- channel (300 to 850 nm) and CCD 2000 channel (300 to 1050 nm) detectors
  • Excitation spectra : Fluorolog3-2 (Jobin-Yvon) with double monochromator for excitation from 240 to 600 nm. Vis-near IR analysis.
  • Decay curves : with oscilloscope, resolution > 1ns
  • Cryostats : nitrogen (> 77 K) and helium (> 4 K) with adjustable temperature up to 500 K.
  • Integrating sphere : analysis of emission spectra of thin layers to avoid interference effects
